At first, this blog was just part of class for me. But after several times, I began to write a blog with fun. And now, I am attached to this blog, so thanks for teaching that the fun of writing in English!

Earthquake Coming

In March 11, Big earthquake is coming to Japan. It makes serious damage to the residents of Tohoku district. It makes some damage to place where I live in. This disaster also gives deep sadness. I really hope to revive as soon as possible Tohoku district.

My First Overseas Trip

My first overseas trip to Honolulu, Hawaii gave a very pleasant time to me and my family. First of all, my father suggested this plan, and we agreed. The trip did in summer, 2002. The first day in Hawaii, we checked in at the hotel. The hotel’s room could overlook ocean view. How beautiful scene it was! After that, we went to shopping and went to swimming in the ocean. The second day in Hawaii, we went to walking under the sea. Under the sea, there was many colorful fishes. The bottom of the sea was very mysterious and silent place that was clear blue all around and there was no sound without my breath. The last day in Hawaii, we checked out of the hotel and went to the airport. Of course, before came back home, we went to duty-free shop to enjoy some shopping. In concluding, my first overseas trip made me excited very much.

Sand Art and Sand Figure

I am surprised when I first saw the Sand Art. It is not just in the sandpit. It is very simple, but there is a very high technology is used. It is really impressed with lifelike. If you haven’t seen it yet, I recommend that you take a look it. There are many sand arts in “You Tube” and other Internet Sites.

About Optical Illusions

Optical illusion is enjoyed by a trick of the eye. It occurred by perspective, trompe l'oeil, or other expressions. I learned it in Escher’s trick art when I am an elementary school student. I like it, but too seeing gets a headache.

About My Weekdays

During the week, my days are very busy. I wake up early every week day except Wednesday on which I get up at 6:30. Then I eat a small breakfast and get ready for school. Next, I leave home at around 8:00 and drive my car to school. I study from 11:00 to 4:30. Friday is especially busy because I study from 9:20 to 4:30. When I finish all my classes, I drive my car again and go home. I get home at around 9:30. As you can see, I spend about two hours in going to and getting back from school. After I get home, I have dinner alone. After that, I usually surf the Internet. Next, I do my homework until midnight. Finally, I go to bed at around 2:00. I am usually very tired when I go to bed. As you can see, I am very busy on my weekdays.

About sleep

Sleeping is a most important factor for life on Earth. If you don’t sleep well, you will feel sleepy when you shall do your best. If you hope to do your best anytime and anywhere, let’s try to get your sleeping hours more. But be careful, Sleeping too much is unhealthy too.

About My Free Time

I have many and various hobbies. When I have free time, I often listen to music, watch TV, or go driving. I also play video games, read novels and use my personal computer. Out of all of my hobbies, my favorite thing is driving. I refresh myself when I go driving. If I can save some money, I would like to go to Kyoto and see some historical shrines and temples. Another thing that I like to do is go to the movies. There are many attractive movie titles which I really want to watch, but I do not have any free time now. In conclusion, I have many hobbies, so I am very busy, but I want to enjoy my free time more.

About Smile : )

Smile is an important factor in communication. There is a sincere smile and an insincere it. When you talk with somebody who is your close terms, you probably smile naturally and your smile is a sincere. If you unfortunately hear flat jokes when you talk to your boss or teacher, you probably smile awkwardly and maybe your smile is an insincere. However it is not a smile from your heart, but it is also an important communication tool. As you can see, Smile is a very important element in any situation’s communication.

My Family

I have a small, but close family. We are four in my family. It consists of my father, mother, little sister and I. My father’s name is Mitsuru. He works at the TOKYU DEPARTMENT STORE. My mother’s name is Mihoko. She works the same place where my father works. This year, she transfers to the large customer department. We are pleased with her promotion. My little sister’s name is Sayaka. She is a high school student. She has a part-time job on weekends. My family’s dinner time is special, because my grandparents and uncle from my mother’s side live nearby, so we eat dinner together.

Golden Week

I am looking forward to the Golden Week every year. My idea of the Golden week in this year is cleaning my room and washing my car. In my room, comics and novels are lying now. So I will clean up these books. About my car, I use my car to go to the school every day. But I have no time to wash a car in my holidays because I am very tired with classes in weekday. So this long vacation is a chance of washing my precious car!

About Me - Yutaka Yamagohri

My name is Yutaka Yamagohri. I am from Nakahara ward, Kawasaki city, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan. I am a student at Tokai University. I like to drive very much. During holidays, I often go shopping in Shibuya, Kawasaki, and Yokohama by my car. I like to listen to music too. My favorite music genre is Japanese-pops, classical music, as well as soundtracks from movie and video games. I also love to watch “Formula One Grand Prix” on television. Another of my hobbies is watching movies. I like to go to the movies and also watch rental videos at home.

My classmate's name is Yuji Ohashi. He is single. He is from Maibashi city Shiga Japan. He speaks Japanese. He is very friendly. He is a student in Tokai University. And he goes to part time job in holiday. He likes to listen to the music. Music's genre is all. He also likes to play soccer. So he hopes to go to England for watching "Premier League".
